Today I am thankful for a day off. This is the first Saturday since school started in early September that Suzanne does not have anywhere she needs to be. I am glad that Suzanne plays soccer (even though she isn’t a star — it is great that she loves to play), does Karate and is part of a Daisy troop. I’m also glad that she likes going to Sunday school — but it all makes for a very full weekend and she is only 6.
So, today, I am going to try to overcome the temptation to catch up on my work — and just sit back and enjoy my family day off at home.
