Well, I finally did it. I had my birthday. I am no longer 40 years old. Thank Goodness. Not that last year was a bad year, but it was a year of overthinking *everything*. Last year, I interpreted every sore muscle, every tired moment as a sign that my days were dwindling… over the hill… (Yes, I know 40 is the new 30 — whatever…) I was still feeling *old*.
This year, I woke up on my birthday and felt “lighter” somehow. Now, that I’m no longer on the cusp of middle age — I figure I just need to move forward, set my goals and go for them. I literally bounded out of bed on my birthday and wrote out my goals. Mostly, they were about balance, spending time with family, spending time with my daughter and being the best techy diva, online entrepreneur and
